Using both traditional melodies and Rabbi Yakira‘s original compositions, they truly capture the essence of Psalms and t’filah. They bring an ecsatic appreciation to prayer, and Yakira adds a rabbinic flavor, teaching wisdom through her music. “I was present in the Shabbat Service at TAS when the YedidYah family performed and led all of the cantorial parts. Yakira’s voice is outstanding and the concept of the family performing with their three and talented daughters is something new and refreshing to the whole Shabbat festivity.
YedidYah collaborated well with our Rabbi and interlaced TAS’s melodies alongside YedidYah’s original prayer songs. I have never seen so many people participating with such enjoyment throughout the service. I personally liked the “Eshet Chayil” original composition, Reggae style.
