 Rabbi Yakira beautiful voice is enhanced by her exceptionally talented family.  Aaron‘s instrumental gifts blend easily with his wife’s singing, and each of their lovely daughters offers a unique presence with singing. flute, and poetic spoken word.  Using both traditional melodies and Rabbi Yakira‘s original compositions, they truly capture the essence of Psalms and t’filah.  They bring an ecsatic appreciation to prayer, and Yakira adds a rabbinic flavor, teaching wisdom through her music.  One of our congregants said she had never seen her six-year-old daughter more engaged.  The whole family offered a spirit that inspired our young people and reJEWvenated the rest of us!

המוזיקה שלהם כל כך שימחה, שהקהל החל להתנועע בקצב המוסיקה, ילדים והורים רקדו, עוד לפני שהספיקו לשבת
 
יקירה יוצרת קשר נפלא עם הקהל שהופך גם הוא לחלק מההופעה – בכל שיר ניכר מאוד שהקשר שלהם למוסיקה וליהדות חדור עמוק בתוך עצמותיהם

YedidYah collaborated well with our Rabbi and interlaced TAS’s melodies alongside YedidYah’s original prayer songs. I have never seen so many people participating with such enjoyment throughout the service. I personally liked the “Eshet Chayil” original composition, Reggae style.
