The Seventh and last Day of Passover is called “Shevi’i shel Pesach”. The song of Moses (Exodus 15) in the Torah reading and the song of Thanksgiving by David (Samuel II 22:1-51) in the haftarah reading are both dramatic accounts of the hidden power and protective care and guidance of G-d over the Jewish people.
The Rabbis pictured the Laws of Shabbat as “A mountain suspended by a thread” Why does the Torah goes into such detailed descriptions of the sacrifices? like wise, twelve chapters in Shemot describes detailed instructions of the Tabernacle, the Mishkan, while Shabbat gets only a few lines?!

The Torah describes Mosheh as the most humble person on earth, and yet, Mosheh was considered as the greatest man on earth. How can a person be both humble and so great? The entire world is a spiritual world, everything happens in our minds. When we act by thought, the world becomes much more spiritual. The work of the offerings teaches us how to correct our nature and achieve the state of “loving your neighbor as yourself”
Many people observe Shabbat each week. Our body is like the Mishkan, a dwelling place for G‑d so that it could be readily dismantled, transported and reassembled as we, the people, change and grow with every experience, in our own individual journey throughout life.
