On August 5th 2018 YedidYah, my family band and I boarded a plane from LAX traveling to Denver Colorado. Our plan was challenging, to say the least. Visiting the most beautiful States in America: Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and South Dakota
Jewish-Ness definition is the quality of being Jewish. Ness in Hebrew means a miracle. I like to define Jewish-Ness as miraculous Jews, as it feels like we’re being led by divine intervention. I’ll do my best to share some meaningful, Fundamental Jewish-Ness related content.
With the going rate of $5 per tooth, no wonder young children don’t mind losing their baby teeth. Not only does it mean that they aren’t babies anymore, the icing on the cake is getting real money from a fake Tooth Fairy.

Shalom, my name is Yakira Yedidia, I’m a singer / songwriter, teacher, wife, mother (not necessarily in this order) and this is my very first blog. Much like the people that populate the State of Israel, Israeli culture is a melting pot of many different music styles from around the world, full of ethnic, soulful, colorful melodies and rhythms. Growing up in Israel, influenced me tremendously as a musician with my song writings, music arrangements style and more.
SINGING. It’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing. I was 9 years young when I thought singing is an essential part of life, like breathing. From elementary school choir, Municipal band during high school (performing to Jewish communities in France and Switzerland) to joining the Israeli Army Band as a lead singer.
