HalleluYah Psalm 150 / Tehilim

Psalm 150 is a psalm in the Hebrew Bible. Asking the congregation to praise God with music and dancing. The basic concept of this psalm is that there are different ways one can praise God.

The Book of Psalms is arranged in 5 books:
Book 1 / Psalms 1-41
Book 2 / Psalms 42-72
Book 3 / Psalms 73-89
Book 4 / Psalms 90-106
Book 5 / Psalms 107-150

Halleluyah / Psalm 150, the very last Psalm, contains 6 verses praising God. It serves in its entirely to praise God for the 5th book and an appropriate conclusion of the entire Psalter.
Halleluyah / Psalm 150 answers 4 questions about praise:
1. Where should God be praised? Everywhere, from his sanctuary of earth to his heavenly creation / verse 1
2. Why should God be praised? For His powerful deeds on behalf of men and his greatness / verse 2
3. How should God be praised? With any instrument man can offer with his God-given creativity / verses 3-5
4. Who should praise God? Everything that breathes / verse 6

Hallelujah! Praise God in His holy place, praise Him in the firmament of His might. Praise Him with His mighty deeds, praise Him as befits His superb greatness Praise Him with a shofar blast, praise Him with psaltery and lyre. Praise Him with timbres and dance praise Him with stringed instruments and flute. Praise Him with resounding cymbals, praise Him with resonant cymbals. Let every soul praise God. Hallelujah!
